I think the rune trader is fine for insiginas, just needs a little cleaning up.

Make it more like the priest or PvP equipment "only in the sorting of them" is all... and there would not be a problem scrolling through a large list...
Sort by Class, then Attrib, and have a different tab for Vigor and inscriptions...

I've been doing the same thing and stalking the rune trader for the right Insignias. I found a Tormenter logo and tried to buy it only to get the "OMFG Sold out!" message.

Yea agree, Arenanet totlally RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed up the insigna system :

-> Low drops ( they dont realize that a full armor usually neest one rune ? Besides a full armor needs 5 insignias ? ) Why insigna's drops are lower than runes dropes rofl ??? Want players selling insignas for 30k piece ?

-> No dedicated vendor

Result : Slow pve acomplishement for pvp, youll need like 3 more full days of trade to find ur insigna's... to pvp... How dumb is that rofl ?

Lesat, it's been 5 days. Of course trade is slower than a snail on ritalin. It is picking up though, I bought a full set of Tormentor insignias for my 15k Sunspear, and I am just waiting for the first Bloodstained insignia to hit the market so I can corner it.

The insignias should be sold from an npc right next to the armor crafter with no supply limit. There is no reason to have to play these games to get the same armor we used to get when we crafted the armor.

In Droknors Forge when I crafted my Gladiators armor I didn't have to wait 2 weeks for the extra energy to kick in, nor did I have to pay extra for it.

Real pessimestic there Dzan. You don't have to "pay extra for it" considering you can get max Elonan armor that costs 1k a piece. Plus 250-300g per inscription is cheaper then the 1.5k you'd be paying in Phrophecies.

Also, for those who forgot how long it took them to implement the retroactiveness of Canthan armor stats, people sure have waited a longer time then that for armor to be updated.

Funny, I dont remember buying 1k armor. And even if I did, I would have gladly paid another 500 gold per piece to get the stats I wanted when I crafted it, rather than some mysterious future date when supply finally out-paces demand at the rune trader.

I bought one.

Anyways, it appears I overreacted. Insignias are starting to accumiliate.

However, I fear that we'll never see Radiant Insignias. And definately not at a reasonable price.

yeah. It's been a week. You expect too much from farmers...

Just wait another 2 weeks and you will start seeing the Radiant Insignias starthing to show on a longer period of basis.

/signed... Insignia's should be purchasable easily just like from a armor merchant.. its retarded when there's like 50 people camping survivor insignias for 300gold and selling it at 10k.. either that or they can fix the trader to have unlimited stock or something.. that way price is still determined by demand etc. but you won't have people abusing the trader to earn, same goes for dervish and paragon runes

I couldn't agree more. As it is now, I'm dead set against buying any of the NF armors I want until I have a full set of insignias to put on it. I don't have the storage room needed to hold onto armor that looks better but is functionally worse than the armor I have from Tyria/Cantha.

especially for the guy with the mod vendor. He just wants an easy break.

These insigs aren't available because nightfall only just came out. By the time they made an insig vendor, the demand will have gone back down and they would start to sell properly.

Just wait it out and stop complaining, or go farm them. They aren't hard to get.

The only problem I have with the insignias being sold in the rune trader is that they are subject to the price fluctuations of supply and demand. Perhaps they are flooding the market with enough of these so they shouldn't ever get above a couple hundred gold. But it could be possible that a rarer inscription could sell for a couple K making the armor more expensive. I wish the armor crafter had them as well and if you sold one, regardless of what kind it was for say 100g, but there would always be a fixed supply available for a fixed price.

I really agree with that! Scrolling through the list has become such a pain.

On the subject of availability - the most obvious solution is to increase the drop rate, not add a vendor. Personally, I agree with those who expect the situation will get better by itself, though.
